Buxy. The “Let’s Redevelop Buxy” project is entering its final phase.

The development of the master plan for Buxy's public spaces is nearing completion. After two citizen participations at the initiative of the municipality , the final presentation of the "Let's Redevelop Buxy" project took place this Thursday, May 15 at 7 p.m., in the community hall, in the presence of nearly 80 people.
From 7 p.m. to 7:45 p.m., Victor Azan, from the Toposcope office in Lyon, presented the master plans for public spaces, on the one hand, and the new stages of the redevelopment, on the other.
Following a large amount of information collected from residents, a diagnosis made it possible to define three main areas:
- Rebuild a unifying and hierarchical public network;
- Find or create pedestrian routes;
- Stage the discovery of Buxy.
A route connecting the tourist office via the greenway, in order to bring tourists closer to the village center, is part of a bold project. This would be part of a total budget of 4 to 5 million euros over 10 years.
Before debriefing over a glass of friendship, Hélène Aubry, project engineer, presented “Place des services,” an idea based on the needs of services that would allow the creation of an intergenerational living space.
On this subject, a first consultation meeting is planned for Monday, June 2.
